BIO

Norwegian guitarist and sound engineer Morten Langrind released his instrumental debut album "Instrumentally Unstable" in 2016. As member of duo Lüstgas and former member of band Paralgin Forte, Langrind has been part of the Norwegian indie scene for more than 25 years, both as a musician and sound engineer. Inspired by electronica, post-punk and prog the 2016 album features strange instrumentals all played by Langrind. Inspiration for the album came after workshops with King Crimson members Adrian Belew, Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto. Especially Belew's exploration of guitar-sounds has resulted in Langrind's fondness for the use of effects. The second album "The post morten examination", 2018, continues this instrumental journey in different time-signatures and layers of sound.
